Elijah James “Lou” Holmes, 18, of Natoma, Kansas passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 from an automotive accident.
Elijah was born April 6, 1996 in Grand Junction, Colorado, the son of Bradley and Kristine M. (Lyle) Holmes. He grew up in Natoma and was very active in school playing basketball and football. He graduated from Natoma High School with the Class of 2014. He enjoyed playing sports, playing video games, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Elijah’s surviving family include his mother, Kristine Holmes of Natoma, Kansas; father, Bradley Holmes of Salina, Kansas; brother, Bradley J. Holmes (Taylor Baxley) of Natoma, Kansas; nephew, Nixon Holmes of Natoma, Kansas; and grandparents, Kenny and Linda Lyle of Natoma, Kansas. He was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Barbara Holmes.
A Memorial Service for Elijah will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Natoma Gymnasium with Pastor Scott Tempero and Tanner Lyle officiating. No visitation due to cremation. Burial of Ashes will take place at a later date. A memorial has been established with the Natoma High School Athletic Department.
