Paxton Lewis Moreland, 28, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. Paxton was born July 10, 1992 in Hays, Kansas.  He was the son of Dennis Moreland, Jr. and Kelli Geary. He grew up and attended schools in Russell and Benson, Minnesota.  He graduated from Benson High School in 2010. Paxton was united in marriage to Jennifer Ginther on August 13, 2016 in Russell, Kansas, where they made their home. Paxton was a hard worker, dedicated to those around him. His trades were welding and as an oil field worker.

Cathy (Cobb) Ruby, 69, of Bunker Hill, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Russell Regional Hospital in Russell. Cathy was born September 22, 1951 in Huntsville, Alabama.  She was one of eight children to David Ray and Lena Kathleen (Tate) Cobb.  She grew up in the Decatur, Alabama area and attended high school there.  She later attended Broward Community College in Florida and Burton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas.  She lived in the Bushton, Kansas area from 1977 to 1989.
