DeVante' Breanna (Woods) Sampil
, age 14, of
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and former Russell resident, died on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.
DeVante' was born on August 16, 1996 in Russell, Kansas.
She is survived by her parents, Amy and Ousmane Sampil, sister Brijhae (Woods) Sampil, and brother Zidane Sampil all of the home ; maternal grandparents Ronald and Diana Boxberger of Russell, Kansas; paternal
grandmother M'mahawa Camara, Conakry, Guinea; Uncle Justin and Aunt Kim, cousins Zachary, Seth, and Isabella Boxberger all of Russell.
A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. on Thursday March 24, 2011 at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary Chapel in Russell with Pastor Dale Lane officiating. Contributions can be made to the Bible Baptist Church of Russell. Contributions can be given to the Bible Baptist Church of Russell and sent in care of the mortuary. Contributions and condolences may be sent in care of to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas who is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
