June C. Hartman

June Carolyn Hartman , 82, passed to her reward on July 20, 2008. She was born June Carolyn Tasker in Syracuse , New York on august 8, 1925, She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a seasoned traveler, and enjoyed her many years of traveling through-out Europe and North America . Active in her church, her greatest pleasure was doing for others.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carlton Hartman of Windcrest; her son Stephen Hartman of Waterloo, New York and her brother, Richard Tasker of Sun City West, Arizona. She leaves behind her grandson, Benjamin Hartman and two great grand children Zayna & Asher of Hammondsport , New York . In addition she also leaves behind her grandsons Andrew and John Hartman who live in New Jersey . A memorial service was conducted at the Windcrest Methodist Church at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church Foundation Fund * 8101 Midcrown Dr . * San Antonio , Texas 78239 .

A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 3 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in Russell at the Russell City Cemetery . Cremation has preceded the memorial service. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary is in charge of the funeral arrangements
