Karin Meier Farmer

Karin Meier Farmer , 63, of Ft. Worth , Texas and former Russell resident, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Karin was born on August 22, 1944 in Irxleben , Germany the daughter of Willie and Lucy Meier. Karin had a large heart and showered love on her family and friends. Her memories will be carried on through their legacy. Karin’s family was able to celebrate her life with Thanksgiving gathering.

Surviving family include her mother Lucy Meier; sister Inga Hollweck of Diepolsdorf, Germany; son John O. Farmer IV and wife Michelle of Russell, daughter Christina Farmer Prickett and husband Phillip of Burleson, Texas and son Michael W. Farmer and wife Bridget of Kansas City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren Craig, Courtney, Kelsey, Kyle, Kayla, Cameron, Joshua, Austin, Jessica, Arian, Abigail and Eva; and a host of extended family members and friends from Germany, Kansas City, Russell and Fort Worth.

Funeral Services for Karin in Fort Worth will be at Noon on Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Cana Baptist Church , 2309 E. Renfro in Burleson , Texas .

A Celebration of Karin’s Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Russell. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Russell. A memorial has been established to the St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Catholic Church and to the Dream Theater and may be left with Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary * 610 N.
