Lyle G. Corwin , 71, of Russell , Kansas died on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Hays Medical Center . Lyle was born July 9, 1936 in Racine , Wisconsin , the son of Jim and Valeria P. (Hazon) Corwin.

Lyle grew up in the Racine area and attended Racine Public Schools. He was united in marriage to Bonnie L. Havican on July 9, 1987 in Racine Wisconsin .  Bonnie preceded Lyle in death on March 8, 2004. He was a welder for many years but was know as a jack of all trades and master of none. Lyle enjoyed loving life and spending time with his family and friends.

Lyle is survived by his three children, son Raymond M. House of Tucson, Arizona; daughters Irene Billings of Racine, Wisconsin and Robyn House of Russell; one brother Tommy Corwin of Russell; three sisters Deloris Henges and Diane Kluge of Racine and Barbara Brown of Russell; four grandchildren including Joshua House and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gene Corwin.

A private family service will be held at a future date and time. Cremation has preceded the funeral services. A memorial has been established to the Lyle Corwin Memorial Fund.
