Rebecca Trible

Rebecca Jane Trible , 21 of Manhattan , Kansas and formerly of Russell died Sunday, October 21, 2007 from an automobile accident near Russell , Kansas . Rebecca was born October 12, 1986 in Wichita , Kansas the daughter of Ronnie D. and Karen Ann (Schulte) Trible.

Growing up, Rebecca and her family lived in Valley Center , Kansas then Lacrosse, Kansas and in 1996 her family moved to Russell. She graduated from Russell High School in 2005. She was very active in high school with sports, National Honor Society, Letterman’s Club, school plays and musicals.

Rebecca was attending her third year at Kansas State University , where her major was Business and Marketing. She was the Social Chairman of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity.

Rebecca was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Russell and the St. Isadora Catholic Church in Manhattan . She was an active person who was always on the go. She loved sports, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She was a true K-State Fan.

Her surviving family include her parents, Ronnie & Karen Trible of Russell; one brother, Benjamin Ralph Trible of Manhattan, KS; two sisters, Sarah Marie Trible of Russell and Rachel Lea Trible of Kansas City, KS; Maternal Grandparents, Ralph & Helen Schulte of Russell; several aunts and uncles; and special friend, Tyson Dinges of Manhattan, KS. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph A. and Gladys M. Trible.

Celebration of the Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at St. Mary, Queen of Angels Catholic Church of Russell. Interment will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. The Vigil will be held at 7:30 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at ST. Marys Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 8 AM to 5:30 PM Tuesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell. Memorials have been established with St. Marys Catholic Church or Russell High School Athletic Department.
