Richard W. Yeomans III

Richard William “Rick” Yeomans, III, 71, of Natoma, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026 at his home in Natoma.

Rick was born September 7, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was one of children born to Richard W. Jr., and Doris (Gillette) Yeomans. He grew up in East Longmeadow and Palmer, Massachusetts, and graduated from Minnechaug High School in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.

Rick was united in marriage to Donna MacIntire in 1996 in Annapolis, Maryland. They made their homes in Oxen Hill, Maryland and Pinellas, Florida. In 2024, he moved to Natoma to be with Donna.

Rick started his life out working as a Mechanic. Then in time, he developed a love for school buses and thus became the Bus Garage Transportation Manager in Springfield Massachusetts for Peter Pan Bus Lines and later in Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed race cars, planes, flying, skydiving and civil war history.

Rick is survived by Donna MacIntire of the home; son, Richard Yeomans, IV. Of North Carolina; daughter, Melanie Bray (Katie) of Florida; sister, Cindy Yeomans-Keough of Washington; grandson, Jackson Bray and Gavin Yeomans; nieces, Rachel Keough of Pennsylvania and Sara Yeomans of Massachusetts; nephews Evan Keough of Colorado and Jeremy Yeomans of Maine.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Yeomans.

The family has requested cremation and a private family service will take place at a later date. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
