Rosalee Kay (Boxberger) Long age 87, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Born on July 20, 1938, in Russell, Kansas, Rosalee was the daughter of William G. Boxberger and Helena (Deines). She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and carried those values of warmth and care throughout her life.

On July 10, 1954, Rosalee was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses—a commitment that remained central to her life. Her faith guided her actions and brought comfort and strength to her and those around her.

Rosalee shared a long and devoted marriage with her husband, Lawrence E. Long. Together they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Tyrone (Shelly) and G Jason (Jeannine), as well as by her sister Delores (Frost). Her legacy continues through six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren who will carry forward the values she instilled.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Edna (Dumler), Racheal (Galik), Helen (Dumler), Marvin Boxberger, and Marlene (Liggitt).

Rosalee was known for being a True Lady—gracious in spirit and generous at heart. She was especially cherished as a loving grandmother whose presence brought joy to every gathering. An excellent cook, she delighted family and friends with meals that nourished both body and soul.

Rosalee's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her life continue to inspire kindness, joy, faithfulness, and love across generations. A private Graveside Service will be scheduled for immediate family. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell, Kansas.
