Richard L. Lewis, 80, of Henderson Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, June 2 in Henderson, Nevada. Richard was born in Russell Kansas, to Joseph Victor Lewis and Edna Ruth Lewis on December 10, 1939. Richard completed a Master’s Degree in mathematics from Pittsburg State University. After graduation, he enjoyed teaching college-level mathematics at Pittsburg State University in Kansas and Hayward State College in California. Ted was born May 9, 1928 in Clay Center, Kansas, the son of Theodore, Sr. and Sara (Middleton) Gepner. He grew up and attended school in Clay Center.
