Connie L. Eulert

Constance Lucille “Connie” Eulert, 81, of Russell, Kansas, and former Paradise, Kansas resident, died on Saturday, August 06, 2022, at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

Connie was born on July 11, 1941, in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Nova (Alderson) Stamey.  She grew up in and attended school in Great Bend, Kansas.  She met fell in love and was united in marriage to Harold Otto “Harry” Eulert on January 23, 1960, in Hays, Kansas.  Connie and Harry made their home in Paradise, Kansas and from this union they were blessed with 2 daughters Corianne Lea and Sherri.  She helped Harry work the family farm but also worked at the Russell County Court House Appraiser’s Office and worked as a travel guide for Please Go Away Vacations.  She was a longtime member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Natoma, Kansas and enjoyed traveling and watching survivor with her daughter Sherri.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, she especially enjoyed spending time and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving family include her daughter Sherri L. Glenn and husband Ken; her sister Pam Herrman and husband Stan of Littleton, Colorado; her 5 grandchildren Chris and Heather Glenn, Breanna Eulert, Sara Fattig and Ashley Jones; and  5 great grandchildren Parker Jones, Ambree Glenn, Wyatt Fattig, Morgan Fattig & Daylin Glenn-Homewood and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry on September 15, 2007, and daughter Corianne Lea Eulert on March 19, 2017, 2 infant children, brother Gary Stamey and sister Lila Johnson.

A gathering service will be held from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell, Kansas.  Open visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. on Thursday, August 11th with the gathering service and family greeting guests Thursday evening.  Memorials may be given to the Fairport Cemetery and sent in care of the mortuary.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.  A reception dinner will be held after the gathering service on Thursday evening at Meridy’s restaurant in Russell, Kansas.
