Gary Hashenberger, 78, of Russell, Kansas, died on Sunday, February 21, 2022, at his home in Russell.
Gary was born on May 10, 1943, in Hill City, Kansas, the son of William and Metta (Dawson) Hashenberger. He grew up in Bogue, Kansas and graduated from Bogue High School. After high school, he served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He worked as a pulling unit operator in the oil field industry.
He is survived by his brother Arthur Hashenberger and wife Kathy of Russell, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruby, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Cremation was selected by the family. No services are scheduled at this time. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
