Marie Carmella Rall, 66, of Russell, Kansas, died on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her home in Russell, Kansas.
Marie was born on December 10, 1955, in Bayshore Long Island, New York. The family moved to Russell, Kansas for several years before Marie moved back to New York when she was 13 years old. In 1971, she moved with her father to Tucson, Arizona where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Chuck Rall and from this union they were blessed with a daughter Megan. Later the marriage ended in divorce but continued to have a close relationship in raising their daughter. She worked as a medical transcriptionist working with doctor’s offices and hospitals. She attended and was to become a member of the First Congregational Church in Russell. She was a member of the Russell T.O.P.S. and church bible study. She enjoyed reading novels, watching television, listening to music, loved animals playing and spending time and taking care of children and her nieces and nephews.
Marie is survived by her daughter Megan Schwab and husband Kevin of Mesa, Arizona; brothers Gary Mauro and Salvatore John Mauro, Jr. both of Russell, Kansas; sister Cathy Pasek and husband David of Russell, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 06, 2022, at the First Congregational Church in Russell, Kansas. A Memorial has been established to the Marie Rall Memorial Funeral Fund to help with funeral services. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
