Rebecca Lynn Baer, 59, of Russell, Kansas, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, Kansas.
Rebecca was born on August 08, 1961, in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of William P. and Iva Darlene (Gordon) Baer. She grew up in California and lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for most of her life before moving to Russell several years ago. She worked for many years at the Russell Regional Hospital as a switchboard operator. She was a longtime member of the Bible Baptist Church in Russell. She is survived by her sons Jake Kossak of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Jeremy Kimmel of Russell, Kansas; sister Donna Donnell of Russell, Kansas and 8 grandchildren and her dog missy.
She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life service will be held for Rebecca at a later date and cremation has been selected by the family. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
