Irmina Juliana (Oswald) Dauber, 82, of Bunker Hill, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her home. Julie was born September 2, 1937 in Hays, Kansas. The daughter of Lloyd J. and Irma (Hoff) Oswald.Growing up she attended Blue Hill School in Ellis County, Kansas and graduated from Natoma High School. She then attended Ft. Hays State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1959 and a Master’s Degree in 1967. Julie was a devoted Teacher for over 35 years. Caroline Julia (Stos) Revell, 85, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Russell Regional Hospital in Russell. Caroline was born March 27, 1935 in Great Bend, Kansas.  She was the daughter of Adolph R. and Otillia W. (Suchy) Stos.  She grew up in Jetmore, Kansas and graduated from Jetmore High School in the class of 1953.  After high school she attended St. Rose Nurses Training in Great Bend, Kansas.  She later attended Barton County Community College. Allen Wayne Strecker, 71, of Russell, Kansas, died on Wednesday, July 01, 2020, at the Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. Allen was born on April 28, 1949, in Russell, Kansas, the son of Chester and Lillian (Karst) Strecker.  He grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in the class of 1967.  After high school he joined the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.  After serving his country, he returned to Russell and lived here most all his life.  He worked for the City of Russell Fire Department and loved helping

Rosalie May (Springer) Wood,  83, of Ellsworth, Kansas and formerly of Russell, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Ellsworth County Medical Center. Rosalie was born February 13, 1937 in Pleasanton, Kansas, the daughter of Leslie Adam and Nettie May (Graham) Springer.  She grew up in Pleasanton and graduated from Pleasanton High School.  She was the Homecoming Queen her Senior year.  She also worked at the Dairy Curl and the local bank. Clarence Edward Flores, 45, of Great Bend, Kansas, died on Monday, June 29, 2020, from a tragic accident at Wilson Lake in Lucas, Kansas. Clarence was born on October 23, 1974, in Clovis, New Mexico, the son of Clarence Ransom and Blanca Flores.  He worked as a clerk O’Reilly’s Auto Parts store in Great Bend, Kansas. Gerald Wayne Stoppel, 77, of Russell, Kansas, died on Monday, June 29, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Gerald was born on April 14, 1943, in Bunker Hill, Kansas, the son of Edward and Emelia (Heinze) Stoppel.  He grew up on the family farm in Bunker Hill, Kansas in Russell County.  He graduated from Dorrance High School and attended Ft. Patricia Ann Radke, 84, of Russell, Kansas, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. Dorothy Elizabeth (Kaufman) Bay, 98, of Russell, Kansas, entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the home of her son and beloved daughter-in-law in College Station, Texas.
