Wayne Edward Windholz, 72, of Victoria, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Russell Regional Hospital. Wayne was born October 20, 1947 in Hays, Kansas. He was the first of two sons born to Edward and Virginia (Weigel) Windholz. He grew up in the Gorham area and graduated from Gorham High School, Class of 1965. Wayne was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, enlisting in 1966. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 27th Artillery Unit, reaching the rank of SP5. Mary L. Holliday, 70, passed away on April 2nd, 2020, at UKMC Hays Campus in Hays, Kansas. Mary was born on January 21st, 1950, at Russell City Hospital, Russell, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Virginia (Steinert) Boxberger.  She grew up in the Milberger community south of Russell. She attended Lincoln Township School north of Milberger for the first 8 grades, and finished her education at Russell High School. She was a retired registered nurse. Lucille M. Riedel, 95, of Russell, Kansas, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at the Main Street Manor in Russell Regional Hospital in Russell, Kansas. Services are pending at this time and cremation has been selected by the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Elmer Leroy Steinle, 97, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Main Street Manor in Russell. Elmer was born February 19, 1923 in Russell. He was first of four children born to David Samuel and Amelia Molly (Ehrlich) Steinle.
